This evening (Monday 13th April 2020) sees the first remote meeting of Burland Parish Council as the country deals with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Social distancing measures prevent the Parish Council from meeting in person, so the Council has decided to meet remotely instead.
This decision comes after the passing of regulations under the Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020, which came into force on 4 April 2020.
The public are welcome to attend the meeting, which starts at 7.30pm.
