Hi – I’m William Stewart, the Chair of Burland & Acton Parish Council. Originally from Northern Ireland, I moved to England in 1990 and settled in Ravensmoor in 2004. I joined Burland PC in 2021 and accepted the role of Chair of BAPC in 2023. I’ve held various Operational & Quality senior management roles for over two decades and am currently an Operations Director for a company in Wrexham. Outside of work I enjoy walking (which I often combine with litter picking) and I’m also a keen amateur astronomer, specialising in precision measurements of small objects in the solar system such as asteroids and meteoroid streams.
